The Reading Room of Words and Sounds ELEKTRA and Literary Orbit invite you to a completely new way of spending time with literature: Reading Party. The concept that has captured the hearts of bookworms in New York is now also in Warsaw since April!
What is it about?
As part of the Reading Party, we agree to read together. You can bring your own book or use the available collections on-site. We settle down together in the cozy space of Elektra, along with Jagoda Gawliczek (host of the Literary Orbit podcast) and a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea, to immerse ourselves in our readings (you decide what you will read!). In the background, we will listen to music from a rich record library, which is an integral part of the Reading Room.
How does the Reading Party differ from a discussion book club?
Unlike the book club format, at the Reading Party, we primarily agree to read. If you want to talk about books or ask for recommendations, you can discreetly initiate a conversation and move a little further away from those reading.
Free admission!
