Respect!
Skaryszewski Park is, according to the 2009 poll, the most beautiful park in Poland. I am not particularly surprised, as a native of Grochów, I used to run around here in the alleys and dip my feet in the Kamionkowskie lake. A beautiful place designed in a garden style. I had the opportunity to get to know it inside out.
In connection with the above, I invite you, Dear Guests, for a little walk through our Skaryszak, where we will stroll through it lengthwise and crosswise, and in the meantime, I will engage in a monologue on park-related topics.
I will tell you about the history of the park, its patron Ignacy Jan Paderewski, folk games and dances, beautiful gardens, chocolate, and falling euro plans.
It will also be known about Grochów, Praga, times gone by, as well as various diverse topics, because storytelling is a lively thing and sometimes takes us to surprising areas.
I cordially invite you!
We start at 12:00, September 22, 2024.
Meeting place: Entrance to the Park from Washington Roundabout (by the bust of Paderewski)
The walk will last about 1.5 hours.
You are kindly requested to come in large numbers and invite relatives and friends.
This cultural event is free, but it is known that if you enjoyed it, I would not disdain a little something in the hat for noble causes.
Looking forward to seeing you, Dear Guests!
