Group Mindfulness Course (MBCT-L)
We invite you to join us for 8 weeks of mindfulness practice on consecutive Mondays starting from September 9, in a safe, small group.
The course was developed by scientists from Oxford University under the name MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) as a group mindfulness training aimed at preventing relapse of depression. It currently has much broader applications, not only in the field of health but also in education and other areas where developing mindfulness brings significant benefits.
MBCT-L (for Life) is the latest version of this program, which offers mindfulness practices and cognitive-behavioral approaches in a way that makes them accessible to everyone. The course instructs participants on how to apply mindfulness practice in daily life both to cope with difficulties and to cultivate joy, compassion, peace, and wisdom. The theory underlying MBCT-L combines ancient wisdom and contemporary psychology. This course is open to anyone who needs:

∞ to increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and the body

During the course, we learn:

✓ experiencing a sense of self-efficacy, an active attitude
✓ the skill of consciously relaxing and reducing psychosomatic symptoms caused by stress.

The course will be conducted under the supervision of The Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.

The course includes 24 hours of practice:
∞ 8 meetings in small groups (each session lasting 2 hours)
∞ one full-day meeting – Mindfulness Day
∞ 2 hours of individual consultations at the beginning and end of the course

Instructor:
MARTA MIGDAŁ
Mindfulness Teacher MBCT-L - Cognitive Therapy Based on Mindfulness - in the process of supervision and certification by The Oxford Mindfulness Foundation. She completed a 3-year teacher training consisting of two modules: postgraduate studies at SWPS in Mindfulness and Compassion and advanced teacher training in the field of Cognitive Therapy Based on Mindfulness under the guidance of teachers from the Mindfulness Development Foundation (https://fundacja-mindfulness.org/). She is a teacher recommended by the Mindfulness Development Foundation, which is the only organizer of systematic MBCT teacher training in Poland – Cognitive Therapy Based on Mindfulness, qualifying for a certificate accredited by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.
Since March 2023, she has been creating a space for mindfulness practice @Mindfulness-Based.
