Vocalist Chris Schittulli, with his characteristic lightness and French charm, guides listeners through atmospheric images of the city – in French and Polish songs sung in French. Accompanying him is the excellent pianist and arranger Mariusz Dubrawski, creating a subtle, intimate atmosphere full of emotion and beauty. "After arriving in Poland, I immediately became interested in Polish musical heritage. My attention was drawn to the beautiful melodies, and I thought the lyrics must be equally wonderful. I started translating Polish songs and performing them, also in France, which made me somewhat of an ambassador for Polish songs in French. Since living in Poland, the cultural bridge between France and Poland has taken on special significance for me; it's my way of building relationships between us, as music is universal" – Chris Schittulli. Mariusz DUBRAWSKI - Pianist, composer, arranger, music producer. - Graduate of the piano class at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (1987) and a long-time academic teacher at this institution (currently UMFC) – pianist in the vocal-acting department from 1987 to 2019. - In addition to classical music, he is involved in theatrical, poetic-ballad, rock, jazz, and French song music. He composes and arranges for actors and singers, records albums and TV programs. - Performed with Irena Santor as a pianist and head of the music ensemble, collaborated with Zbigniew Wodecki, with whom he played many concerts and composed several songs.
