Are you tired of constantly chasing love? Or maybe try a date with a book?
Join us for a special, slightly romantic meeting of the Book Discussion Club!
This time we will talk about Madame by Antoni Libera.
It is a subtle, humorous novel full of art and passion, set in the realities of the Polish People’s Republic. The narrator’s platonic love for a French teacher turns into an obsession that reveals the illusions we create to give meaning to our own lives.
Instead of a banal romance, the book offers an intelligent, suggestive story about infatuation and the emotional discovery of another person.
Surprises in the spirit of Valentine’s Day await you on site!
