Watches, jewelry, family photographs: in concentration camps, German Nazis took all personal belongings from prisoners. At the Arolsen Archives, the last possessions of about 2,000 persecuted individuals are still stored. Together with volunteers, we search for their relatives to return the stolen mementos. The exhibition tells the stories of ten persecuted individuals and the search for their families. 🎟️ Admission is free. Through QR codes available at the exhibition, you can access interviews with found relatives who talk about what the return of mementos means to them. We also show how you can join the #StolenMemory campaign and start your own search. This is particularly important in Poland: the last mementos of 600 Polish victims of persecution are still waiting to be returned!
