    About the event

📅 The exhibition runs until 19.02

"Niemen – An Unfinished Portrait" is an invitation to view an exhibition about Czesław Niemen — not about the vocalist, not about the stage persona. We all know he was and remains one of the most significant artists of recent decades, but few people know about his fondness for tinkering. Through photographs and other surprise materials I want to bring this remarkable man closer to you.

"In 2026 it will be 22 years since Czesław Niemen's passing. His artistic message was completely sincere and true, and listeners felt it and received it as if someone close was asking similar questions, and often providing answers. To this day there is no other artist of the same format — author, vocalist, composer, graphic artist — who combined all these elements in one person."

This exhibition is a mosaic of fragments of Czesław's life and daily routines that I would like to share with you. You are invited. Małgorzata Niemen
