Do you want to enter the world of Quar Wars but don't know where to start? Or maybe you already have models but want to get a better grasp of the rules and tactics?

Welcome to the Quar Wars Academy at Battle Hub – an informal but substantive meeting during which:

• learn the basic rules of the game
• learn key mechanics and interactions
• play a demonstration battle
• talk about tactics, army lists and faction flavour
• meet the crew that already plays and develops the system in Warsaw

What is Quar Wars? Quar Wars is an atmospheric wargame set in an alternate world that resembles the realities of World War I – but with a unique, original Quar race instead of humans.

It's a world of trenches, heavy rifles, improvised artillery and brutal fights to wear down the enemy. Instead of classic high fantasy, you get a gritty, wartime atmosphere full of mud, smoke and commanders' dramatic decisions.

Mechanically the system emphasizes:

• tactical squad manoeuvring
• the importance of cover and position
• morale management
• dynamic, cinematic skirmish-scale engagements

This is a game for people who enjoy atmosphere, narrative and more "grounded" clashes instead of exaggerated superheroes.
