Swamp Booking Agency, Deerhunter Booking and SVMERKI cordially invite you to the Warsaw concert of the amazing Italians from Zu, presenting their new avant-garde material. 𝗭𝗨 [Ostia, Italy] [Noise Rock // Avant-Garde Jazz // Math Rock] Zu is a musical tornado from Ostia that has been continuously redefining the boundaries of sound since 1997. The current lineup is Luca T. Mai (baritone saxophone), Massimo Pupillo (bass), and Paolo Mongardi (known from Fuzz Orchestra, Jennifer Gentle, Morkobot, and ZEUS!). Their music is radical and heavy, but never cold. Always positively charged. In their powerful, minimalist structures, the wildness of punk, the weight of metal, the freedom of jazz, and the spiritual intensity of ritual music blend together. They play as if every note is an act of necessity – here, sound becomes a tool of ecstasy. For over two decades, they have remained one of the most original phenomena of the European experimental scene – a band that does not play songs, but conjures up elements from sound. They have collaborated with artists from many different genre backgrounds, including Mike Patton, The Melvins, Mats Gustafsson, Jim O’Rourke, Dälek, and Ruins, always remaining themselves – a spell that constantly transforms seemingly untamed noise into something organic and deeply human. Zu is not just another "metal band." It is a laboratory of sound and intensity that has shown for years that music can be both brutal and spiritual, chaotic and precise. Every concert is a trance act – a vibration that does not seek harmony, but purification. 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼̈𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 [Płock, Poland] [Cold Wave // Post-Punk // Experimental Rock] SCHRÖTTERSBURG is a quartet from Płock that has been active for over a decade. So far, they have released the albums: - "Krew" - "Ciało" - "Melancholia" - "Melancholia. Dekonstrukcje" - "Dalet" - "Om Shanti Om" - "Kosmogonia" The beginnings of the band are associated with exploring post-punk sounds, as well as breaking genre barriers to use elements from other types of music (industrial, noise rock, psychedelia, kraut rock, dub). From album to album, Schröttersburg set themselves the goal of experimenting and adding more instruments to enrich their sound. On the band's albums, we can hear many contrasts: melody mixes with noise, melancholy with the sounds of large agglomerations. Schröttersburg's music also features psychedelic spaces combined with post-industrial rhythm, rough noises emerging from processed environmental sounds, or slowly flowing dreamy soundscapes. The prevailing trance is meant to lead the listener into the depths of their consciousness, and the present voice gives direction to the imagination. 💰 Price: 90 Do you have a question about the event?
