Sudden cooling and autumn longing for the sun make us start preparations for the winter solstice on the longest night of the year exceptionally early this year. This time, the Sun Festival takes the form of a festival spread over time, consisting of a whole series of meetings illuminating the idea of celebrating the victory of light over darkness. During the third sauna DKF meeting, Natalia "Xymena" Ambroziak will talk about the film "Solaris" by Andrei Tarkovsky - an adaptation of the famous novel by Stanisław Lem, telling the story of a psychologist who arrives on a planet covered by a living, thinking ocean to investigate the disturbing behavior of scientists living at the local research station. It turns out that the solar ocean has the power to give material form to the characters' thoughts and memories, and the confrontation with repressed parts of their own psyche becomes a kind of psychological torture leading to madness. After a short introduction and discussion, we invite you to the experiential part: joint light therapy and warming up in the sauna. A heated bathhouse and a cold pool will be waiting for you. - in the sauna, ceremonies using oak and eucalyptus twigs - at home, a warm living room for relaxation and a kitchen with filtered water, lemonade, tea, and fruit - in the garden, a large lawn, a covered shelter, and a bonfire. It's good to have at least two towels, a scarf made of natural material or a cap, and possibly a bathrobe or flip-flops.
