Surrounded by contemporary art, among works that stimulate the imagination and senses, we encourage you to practice mindful presence in the here and now. Yoga at Zachęta is a proposal for regular classes that will take place every Sunday, offering participants a unique experience in an extraordinary setting. Each meeting lasts 60 minutes and includes an introduction through calming and breathing (pranayama), gentle vinyasa yoga practice – fluid movement sequences combined with breath, and final relaxation in a lying position. This practice supports mindfulness, regulation of the nervous system, and building a connection with the body. Led with tenderness and attention, adapted to every level of advancement, it will move not only bodies but also minds and hearts. The meetings are open to everyone, regardless of experience, gender, or age. To participate, you only need comfortable clothes and a yoga mat. Julia Krup – yoga, meditation, and breathwork teacher. She has been practicing since 2017, teaching since 2022. She leads vinyasa-style classes, combining movement with pranayama and meditation techniques. She has completed, among others, 200h TTC Vinyasa, pranayama courses, mantra, yoga nidra, neuroyoga, and philosophy. She holds a master's degree in sociology, which brings a mindful, humanistic perspective to her work, seeing the person in all their complexity. She is inspired by the philosophy of yoga, which she explores with passion, and her own practice of Zen Buddhist meditation, creating a space where yoga supports self-connection, mindfulness, and inner well-being. Her approach to yoga is deeply functional and inclusive – based on the assumption that the practice should serve the person, not the other way around. photo: Kuba Celej
