Jazz Spring at OKiE SM WOLA
About the event
This spring our space will be filled with the sound of piano, double bass and drums! We have a special two-concert project ahead that will combine different faces of jazz – from masterful interpretations of the classics to original, atmospheric compositions.
We have two extraordinary evenings ahead:
18.03 – Filip Wojciechowski Trio – a masterful meeting of classical music and jazz The band was born out of artistic chemistry during the International Pianist Forum in Sanok and proves that classical music and jazz can speak the same language. On stage will be outstanding instrumentalists – laureates of prestigious competitions. The artists have collaborated, among others, with American trumpeter Gary Guthman and have performed on the world’s most important jazz stages.

25.03 – KADETE – a Warsaw jazz trio performing since 2010 The band is made up of musicians who mainly perform original compositions, occasionally reaching for standards. Their music – inspired by Scandinavian, American and Polish jazz – is based on harmony and melody, and each piece tells its own story. It’s a proposal for both jazz fans and those just discovering the genre.
