“Among Insects” - pantomime, dance, physical theatre, sensory scenography and live music bring closer the life of insects that we rarely notice every day. Like through a magnifying glass we will see their private world on stage — closer to us than we expect.
The main heroine is a small caterpillar who, instead of devouring more leaves, sets out on a journey to meet other insects. This story is also a metaphor for growing up — through successive encounters the heroine learns to understand the world around her and herself.
The performance “Among Insects” introduces a strange, fairytale world. Using minimalist means it tells a wise story about friendship, maturation and exclusion. It sensitizes to the life of nature while at the same time allowing one to find a bit of oneself in every insect.
