Easter eggs — one of the symbols of Easter — can be decorated in many ways. The Printing Museum invites you to open workshops where you can decorate styrofoam eggs using the marbling technique.
Making “marbles” is a method of surface coloring called marbling. The technique involves dripping printing ink thinned with turpentine onto water in a container, then transferring it onto a sheet of paper or another material. The paints form colorful spots and patterns that resemble marble. Styrofoam eggs decorated with marbling will brighten the Easter table as colorful decorations or can serve as an original holiday gift.
