On October 12, 2025, the streets of Wawer will once again be filled with sports energy and the positive spirit of helping! The Żyj z Radością Foundation, together with the co-organizer – the Wawer District Office of the City of Warsaw – invites you to the 7th edition of the Joyful Run. This unique event gathers runners from all over Poland every year, who, in addition to competing in sports, come together to help those in need. 🏃♂️ Just like in previous years, participants of the main run will have two distances to choose from – 5 km and 10 km. The start is scheduled for 10:00 AM. For the youngest, the Joyful Run for Kids is prepared, starting at 12:00 PM. Depending on their age, children will run a distance of 421 m 95 cm (born 2022–2017) or 2 × 421 m 95 cm (born 2016–2013). 🎉 A family celebration of sports and helping The Joyful Run is a day full of attractions for the whole family. All participants and spectators can enjoy a family picnic, a play zone for children, and additional surprises prepared by the organizers and event partners. ❤️ Running for the good of others This year's edition once again has a charitable dimension – part of the funds from starter packages and all proceeds from auctions conducted on the portal https://allegro.pl will be allocated to support 7-year-old Julia Broje. Julia, under the care of the Polsat Foundation, suffers from Silver-Russell syndrome – a rare genetic disorder that affects her growth, development, and daily functioning. Additionally, she has been diagnosed with childhood autism, which hinders her communication and speech development. She faces a long journey – costly therapy sessions and rehabilitation that could help transform her life for the better. 📋 Registration and starter packages Registration is conducted through the website https://datasport.pl. Each participant will receive a starter package including a bib number, technical shirt, deposit bag, and gifts from the organizer and sponsors. Starter packages can be collected at the race office located at Toyota Radość showroom, Patriotów Street 271, on October 10–11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on the race day – October 12, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Organizers encourage early collection of packages to avoid queues on the race day. 🏆 Awards and distinctions Awards are planned for participants in various age categories – both for adult runners in the 5 km and 10 km distances and for children participating in the Joyful Run for Kids.
