We invite you to an emotional, thought-provoking dramedy titled NIENASYCENI ("It’s just sex"), which will leave no viewer indifferent. It offers a different perspective on love, fidelity, desire, relationships, and communication in a partnership. This is a play about the art of being together, about what a relationship needs not only to survive over the years but also to flourish. On stage, a constellation of outstanding stars: Magdalena Lamparska, Vanessa Aleksander, Olga Bołądź, Maciej Zakościelny, Piotr Witkowski / Robert Gulaczyk, Jakub Sasak. The play NIENASYCENI, directed by Anita Sokołowska, is based on the text by American playwright Jeff Gould, "It’s just sex." Plot description: It was supposed to be an evening full of relaxation and fun, because as the classic song goes, "when the kids are not at home, we get naughty." However, as alcohol flows freely, problems and secrets come to light, mutual trust is put to the test, and boundaries are crossed. An innocent party turns into a meeting full of unexpected twists that will forever change the lives of three couples of friends. What will be the outcome of this evening? We are curious ourselves. Desire is an expression of longing for spontaneity, excitement, the adventure that an affair once was for us. Hence this inner insatiability, the need for risk, which, out of fear of consequences, often remains in the realm of dreams. We feel trapped in exemplary relationships with no room for erotic expression. And bonds without sex weaken, indifference creeps into "white" marriages, and the "perfect" relationship falls apart. The fight for lasting, understanding, and mutually respectful relationships is a great challenge in today’s post-pandemic world. The pace of life, social pressure, lack of self-awareness, addiction to the virtual world and smartphones, the obsession with being the best at everything, and constant fatigue lead to a loss of closeness, tenderness, and, consequently, complete sexual abstinence between partners. There are always warning signs, but for our own convenience, do we choose to ignore them? What is betrayal anyway, and what if it happens? How to repair a relationship that burned out long ago? Is it possible to rekindle a feeling that has long since faded? These are the questions pondered not only by the characters of our play but by all the creators of NIENASYCENI.
