Well-written, witty dialogue and distinctive characters are the comedic strengths of "The Name", a play not without reflection. The production of "The Name" from 2016 is today regarded as one of the best Polish productions. The action takes place over a single evening, during a dinner hosted by literature professor Pierre (Szymon Bobrowski) and his wife Elisabeth (Małgorzata Foremniak) in their Paris apartment. The invited guests are a family friend, a trombonist - Claude (Marcin Hycnar / Mateusz Banasiuk), Elisabeth's brother, a brilliant entrepreneur - Vincent (Wojciech Malajkat) and his much younger, pregnant partner Anna (Dorota Krempa).
Among this group the course of the meeting seemed perfectly predictable. However this time typical, small quarrels will turn into a real battle. And all the commotion is caused by an apparently innocent question: Do you already have any idea for a name?
