SINGING IS FOR EVERYONE… BUT IN A CONVENT?
The abbess is unyielding – in her walls only Latin chants are heard. But the young sisterlets have their own idea of music. They want to sing in a way the world will hear and understand. In secret from the strict abbess they form a band and reach for the greatest hits that for years have moved people’s hearts around the world.
Will they succeed in convincing the reverend mother that the messages of The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, or U2 can uplift a person as much as a Latin chant? Can the repertoire of Budka Suflera, Zakopower or Madonna speak about divine and human matters as well as songs from the convent hymnbook?

In the roles of the Sisterlets and their companions appears the Choir JEDNO – an extraordinary formation that has united a passion for singing with a great sense of humour and stage charisma. Exceptional vocalists and an instrumental band effortlessly combine harmonies worthy of a convent nave with the energy of the music stage. They will portray rebellious nuns who boldly – and with a smile – step beyond tradition to sing truths about the world, love, beauty… and God.
