We are starting a new sewing class group for youth and adults. Join creative and skill-building sewing workshops. Learning to sew is an extremely satisfying process — in each session we develop our abilities by working on a concrete project, so that in the end you receive an item sewn by your own hands.
The first class will take place on Wednesday, April 9 — we will sew a basket for a bike or scooter.
During the classes we develop sewing skills step by step. Participants work independently, with the support of the instructor, acquiring valuable skills: threading a needle, hand stitching, cutting, operating a sewing machine and basic tailoring techniques.
The classes will take place together and concurrently with the “Little Tailors” classes. It will be very creative and cheerful!
Natasza Winiarska is an inspiring figure, especially in the context of education and creativity. She promotes sewing skills among children, youth and adults. Through various initiatives, workshops and educational projects she aims to pass on not only practical sewing skills but also values related to patience, precision, concentration and creative thinking.
One of her main goals is to enable discovering the world of fashion and handicraft while developing problem-solving abilities and self-expression through art. The classes she leads often include not only sewing itself but also learning to design and create your own ideas.
