During this evening, we will hear live music by Michał Lorenc, one of the most outstanding Polish film music composers. DesOrient has been his closest musical partner for years – both on stage and in the recording studio. The program will include themes from Lorenc's iconic films, such as: - “Bandyta” - “300 Miles to Heaven” - “Spring to Come” - “Strawberry Wine” - “Deborah” - “Officer” - “Extras” - “Polin. Fragments of Memory” - “Indian Summer” - “Father Mateusz” - “Child of Luck” - “Saga of the Ancient Forest” - and many others. 🎵 About the DesOrient band Founded in 1998, the band has developed a recognizable style and unique sound. Its strength lies in its extraordinary instrumentation and the diverse experiences of its musicians: from virtuosos of concert halls to artists who started on street stages. DesOrient uses traditional instruments from various parts of the world, including: - ney - kawal - Slovak fujara - pan flute - shakuhachi - darabuka - daf - bendir - santur - tar - charango - violin - accordion - double bass - Polish dulcimer Thanks to this, each interpretation gains a unique color and emotional depth. It is Michał Lorenc who entrusted them with performing many of his most important compositions.
