It speaks about very natural and close-to-human matters – both difficult and pleasant. Joy, love, longing, death, pain... All over the world, people desire, rejoice, and cry in the same way – hence the phenomenon of its popularity. Flamenco music and dance carry energy, strength, hope, sunshine, but also longing, suffering, love, faith... It is an art with centuries-old tradition, yet so close to humans, naturally blending into our emotions... Together, we will transport ourselves to beautiful Andalusia, full of life celebration, the scent of orange blossoms, and jasmine. Flamenco is created by the combination of singing, dancing, and music. Singing, based on rhythm, was the first to develop. Dance appeared later, initially as a form of illustration to the songs. Flamenco dance is most often solo – an individual form of expression, always containing an element of improvisation. During the classes, we will explore various forms of expression to collectively feel the richness that the world of flamenco brings. In the course, we will first learn tangos. This style is one of the most traditional in flamenco. It has many variations related to its place of origin or the interpretation of outstanding flamenco singers. Originally and naturally sensual, beautiful, full of expression in both female and male versions, it is danced in a 4-beat rhythm. 👗 Outfit: Comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement is recommended (cotton t-shirt/sweatshirt, pants/leggings, long and wide skirt) as well as shoes with heels / hard soles.
