Warsaw: CHARISMA – cyclical interpersonal skills and self-confidence workshops for women

About the event

Have you ever met an extrovert who was more exhausting than charismatic? Or an introvert whom people are drawn to like flowers to the sun, even though they don't seek it at all? Extroverted behaviors are often colloquially equated with charisma. Although these areas share some common elements, they are not the same. Charisma is much more than just loudly saying what you think and feel, so—regardless of which 'vert' group you belong to—you can have charisma or not. Charisma is something that, in the right environment, can develop during growing up. However, if we weren't so lucky, we can consciously work on it and start using it in every area of life. I invite you to a course that will not only make you aware of what you bring to it, but will be a real gym for the most important elements of charisma and a pretext to train it every day—between meetings and after the course ends. We will largely use improvisational theater techniques (commonly called improv). So, you will also discover a new hobby and... have fun, because improv training is primarily based on play. Besides improvisation, we will use exercises from various approaches—from drama, through bodywork methods, to acting techniques. Even before the course ends, you will notice increased: - self-confidence and overall boldness - enthusiasm - flexibility in surprising situations - communication skills and ability to join conversations - authenticity - mindfulness - control over breath, body, and emotions If the group turns out to be cohesive and eager for further development, we can continue working on other areas (energy management, public speaking, conflicts, status, etc). I developed on stage in several groups, trios, and duos, with whom I practiced (and still practice) various styles and improv formats. Privately—improvisation turned my life upside down. It changed my beliefs about myself, opened me up to changes that could no longer be stopped. I am happy with where I am and know that I am here thanks to improvisation and the methods I discovered and tested on myself along the way. I started my improv adventure in Wrocław. For 3 years, I ran the Kuźnia Impro School of Improvisation in Kraków. Currently, my management center is in Warsaw, and I teach improv and train existing groups all over Poland.
