Sup Survival: weekend expedition on the Vistula River with an overnight stay on an island It's already this coming weekend! "Sup Survival" is a weekend SUP expedition on the Vistula River, during which you'll experience the taste of wild camping in safe conditions and with full support. Our route starts in Lasek Bielański and ends in Wyszogród. We'll spend the night under the stars on a wild island. Bring a tent, sleeping bag, and all provisions – there are no stores along the route. You don't need experience in camping or paddling on the Vistula – as long as you feel confident on a board over a longer distance. You'll learn everything else. I'll provide you with a detailed equipment checklist. Above all, it's FUN and an opportunity to try something new. 📍 ROUTE - Two days of paddling on the Vistula, about 30–40 km per day. If the distance or conditions become challenging, we'll adjust the route – participant safety and comfort are more important than sticking to the plan. - With low water levels, we may need to drag the boards at times – water shoes and readiness to enter the river will be useful. River fins are recommended. 👤 FOR WHOM - For people who feel comfortable on a SUP board but don't need to be experts. - For beginners in camping – we'll teach you everything. - For those who want to experience an extraordinary adventure close to nature. 📅 Event details: - Date: 13-14.09.2025 (this coming Saturday–Sunday) - Meeting point: Saturday, 7:00 AM in Lasek Bielański (Dewajtis Street descent to the Vistula). You can start at 6:00 AM from SUP Academy. - Finish: Wyszogród (return on your own – buses to Warsaw run regularly). - Overnight stay: on a wild island in your own tent. - Bonus: morning coffee and fried egg for participants on the island. 📋 Requirements: - You need confidence on a SUP board over a longer distance, but no camping experience is required. - Recommended river fins and water shoes – low Vistula levels may require dragging boards. - Tent, sleeping bag, provisions, water, and other items according to the list we'll provide. ✅ We provide: - Instructor supervision. - Lots of paddling (70-80 km). - Beautiful, wild nature. - Sunday: SUP coffee and oatmeal / egg. - Insurance (if registered by Thursday at 12:00 PM). 🤝 You provide: - Good moods. - Protection from sun and rain. - Provisions and water. - Camping gear (light sleeping bag, hammock, or tent). - Return transport (we'll provide options). 💰 Cost: - 499 PLN with our SUP (pickup/drop-off at the port). - 399 PLN with your own board.
