Big Sketching – illustration action in the Royal Łazienki Park

One-off drawing event for professionals and beginners. On March 14, 2026, on the terrace in front of the Palace on the Isle in the Royal Łazienki Park we will sketch architecture, palace details and nature together. The event is open and inclusive — you may join at any time.

Attention:

The number of materials is limited, so we encourage you to bring your own sketchbook and tools. Please use materials that do not dirty and are safe to use in historic objects and on the terrace (e.g. pencils, crayons — without paints and wet techniques).

Come, take a pencil and… sketch by surprise! In March a spontaneous drawing action will erupt in the Royal Łazienki Park. Hundreds of hands, one goal: to capture the wonder that arises then. Bring your perspective, sensitivity and willingness to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a place that has inspired everyone for centuries regardless of age and skill.

Facilitator:

Zofia Zaccaria — painter, illustrator, curator. Graduate in graphic arts and pedagogical studies from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Perugia and museology at the University of Warsaw. She paints, illustrates books, creates graphics, and runs creative workshops for families and adults. Curator of museum creative spaces and temporary exhibitions at the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw.
