Hi, We invite you to celebrate the International Week of the Deaf together! 📅 Let's meet on Saturday, September 27, from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Dom Otwarty, located at Radzymińska 123 in Warsaw. The event is organized by us – Dom Otwarty and the Polish Association of the Deaf Main Board, together with the Migaj Naturalnie Educational Center. All attractions will be conducted in Polish Sign Language (PJM) without interpretation into spoken language. Program: - 1:30 PM–6:30 PM - EXPO, featuring booths of deaf exhibitors - 1:30 PM–3:30 PM - Speed friending in PJM - 3:30 PM–3:50 PM - Conversation with Dominika Kozłowska, a Deaf actress - 3:30 PM–6:00 PM - Art workshop for children and adults - 4:00 PM–6:00 PM - Acting workshop for adults - 4:30 PM–4:50 PM - Lecture on the role of assertiveness for mental health Accessibility: - Dom Otwarty is located in Warsaw at Radzymińska 123 - Bus access: lines - 120, 156, 160, 190, bus stops Gorzykowska 02 or Gorzykowska 04 (note: request stops) - METRO stations: Trocka 950 m, 11 minutes on foot - By car: free parking spaces directly in front of the venue - The nearest parking space for people with disabilities is about 40 m in front of the venue at Radzymińska 119 - The facility is architecturally accessible - The venue is friendly to assistance dogs - The venue has wheelchair-accessible restrooms and a comfort room.
