Conference “Safe School. Understand, Protect, Respond”
About the event
We invite you to a free, in-person conference for principals, teachers and educators from upper-secondary schools across Poland, organized by the Military University of Technology.
The theme of the 2nd edition of the conference is youth safety. Representatives of academic environments, schools and non-governmental organizations will take part in the discussions.
The event will create a space to discuss students' mental well-being, the school's role in preventing crises, responsible use of digital technologies, and ways to respond to hate, violence and other forms of threats in the school environment.
Target audience:
- principals of upper-secondary schools
- teachers
- school educators and psychologists
- people involved in creating a safe and supportive educational environment
Program highlights:
- discussion panels with opportunities to exchange experiences and active participant involvement
- workshops and practical sessions, including strengthening students' psychological resilience, responding to hate, peer violence and cyberbullying, working with students who have learning difficulties and ADHD
- topics related to school communication, stress, safely promoting the institution and using artificial intelligence in teaching
