Join us to create wild, beautiful and totally unexpected costumes inspired by the Purim holiday!
During the 6-day workshop you will dress from head to toe in a unique costume you make yourself. Under the guidance of DIY and second-hand specialists you will learn fabric and object upcycling techniques, basic sewing, permanent fabric dyeing and how to build three-dimensional structures from commonly available materials.
Everyday work clothes will be transformed into extraordinary costumes. We will create masks, headpieces, collars, objects and props — without limits to imagination.
The created characters will be styled with accessories and makeup, and the whole thing will be crowned with a professional, magical photo session that will conclude the workshop.

INSTRUCTORS: The workshops will be led by Magdalena Załęcka and Aleksandra Manikowska — artists working in, among other fields, graphics, illustration, fashion styling and textile upcycling. They run art and vintage clothing shops (POPik and Madame Trouble) at the New Różycki Bazaar, where they regularly organize alternative fashion events: clothing swaps, recycling workshops and second-hand fashion shows.
