Literary Open Mic at Młodsza Siostra

This initiative aims to create a space where anyone, regardless of their writing experience, social background, shyness or confidence, can safely come on stage and present texts they wrote themselves.

The event is directly inspired by Kraków’s open mics, which for years have brought together people who write and listen. This is not a slam — we don’t compete, there are no winners or prizes.

Each willing person will get 4 MINUTES to read a work or part of it. No registration is required — just come and go on stage when it suits you.

We welcome people of all gender and ethnic identities and people with alternative motor abilities. We do not tolerate homo- or transphobic, racist, misandrist or misogynistic attitudes; such behaviour will meet our firm response.
