It’s not a concert but a ritual – participants, lying on mats wrapped in blankets, allow their bodies to relax and their minds to wander. The session lasts about 77 minutes, balancing between ambient, minimalism, experimental electronics, and baritone saxophone. Slow, hypnotic sounds promote the synchronization of brain waves in the alpha and theta rhythm – those responsible for relaxation, regeneration, and imagination. The music reduces stress, supports the nervous system, and provides a sense of safe immersion in sound. The deep sound of the baritone saxophone acts like an internal massage – calming, grounding, and naturally synchronizing the breath with the instrument’s sound. Tiramisu Kamikaze, the creator of the project, creates music that not only delights the ear but also soothes, regenerates, and provides respite in a fast-paced world. Somatic Meditation is a gently guided practice of immersing in the body and calming the mind. We start with a short movement combined with conscious breathing to awaken tissues, stimulate the senses, and open channels of sensation. Then, lying down and enveloped in music, we proceed through body scanning, relaxing visualizations, and subtle breathing exercises that harmonize the nervous system and activate the vagus nerve. In this process, we use imaginative meditation (visualization) – a technique that builds an inner world, bringing relief from stress, emotional calmness, and increased self-awareness. Each participant follows their own inner landscape – images and sensations that spontaneously arise in the imagination. The guiding voice and subtle storytelling will be shared by Mery Skubis from Ciało Movi. Working with people, she writes the story of the connection between body and mind in dance, oceanic Lomi Lomi massage, and creative collage.
