Their work is best described as expressive jazz in an intimate setting, with a soundscape ranging from modern jazz and traditional solutions, through ethnic melodies, to free improvisation. - Patrycja Wybrańczyk (PL) ‒ drums - Emil Miszk (PL) ‒ trumpet - Sondre Moshagen (NO) ‒ piano - Aaron Koskelainen (FI) – double bass Improvisation and interaction are the core of this music, composed by all members of the band. The quartet met during the international creative music workshops "INTL Jazz Platform" in 2021 in Oslo, where the ease of mutual improvisation, similar expression, and great attention to sound and detail in music performance were immediately apparent. This led to the idea of creating PESH – a band focused on musical interaction, developing an international musical language, and exploring various cultures and experiences. Thanks to collaboration with the Norwegian label AMP Music & Records, their debut album "Peshish" was released in 2023, gaining recognition across the continent and receiving enthusiastic reviews in European music portals and magazines. 🎶 The concert is part of the Festival of Culture Without Barriers program.
