She had many plans for who she wanted to become in the future. None worked out. Life writes different scenarios, and she writes her sad songs. She says that if she didn't sing, she would write advertising copy or science-fiction novels. She is trusting, suffers from indecision, and feels safest in sadness.
She released her first album in 2022. For “Tu była” she received two Fryderyks (Indie Pop Album of the Year and Debut of the Year). The success of the debut record brought an intensive concert tour and new material. This spring Daria from Silesia released the album “Na Południu bez zmian,” equally emotional, sometimes more hip-hop in form, a continuation of the debut. The great reception of the album resulted in festival appearances:
- Open’er
- Nowa Muzyka
- Męskie Granie
After them there was an autumn tour during which Daria performed in over 20 cities across the country. She ended 2024 with a nomination for the POLITYKA Paszports and Olśnień Onet, and the beginning of 2025 brought another Fryderyk in the category Album of the Year — Alternative Pop. In 2026 Daria’s third solo album will be released, and the concerts in the first months of the year will be an opportunity to hear some of the material before the premiere.
