About the event
Jaskółczy niepokój – a premonition of something new – uncertain but inevitable – as if the heart knew more than the mind and readied itself to fly into the unknown. It is also a duo of improvisers: Aleksandra Markowska and Joanna Pawluśkiewicz, who have been entertaining and surprising the city audience for years.
- Aleksandra Markowska — improviser, vocalist. Founder of the Improvised Musical, she performs e.g. at Klub Komediowy in Warsaw. She has performed at the Del Close Marathon (NYC). She takes part in projects Hofesinka, Kolektyw Śmiesznie, “Nikt nic nie wie” (for children). She runs her own musical projects; together with Małgorzata Lipka she forms the band Danusi Amarylis. She learned improvisation at iO Theater (USA).
- Joanna Pawluśkiewicz — improviser, screenwriter. Graduate of Second City Chicago and iO Theater. She appears in the projects Klaster, Babolejro, Kolektyw Śmiesznie, NIkt Nic nie Wie. Author of the novels “Pani na domkach” and “Telenowela”, co-author of the projects “Nowe legendy miejskie”, “Duży pies nie szczeka”. Author of the monodrams “Co modna pani wiedzieć powinna”. Co-runs Dom Przyrody i Kultury in Teremiski in the Białowieża Forest.

Laughter at the Hall is a comedy series by Kolektyw Śmiesznie at Hala Koszyki. Twice a month the city’s comedians from Kolektyw Śmiesznie are responsible for your good mood and well-being. In addition to curating the stage at Koszyki, members of the Kolektyw work on improvisation, stand-up, arts education, creating scripts, music and short online pieces. They have amused the city audience since 2017, co-creating local comedy scenes such as Klub Komediowy and Resort Komedii.
