Who are you, Maria? – discover with us the many faces of Maria Skłodowska-Curie! Every Thursday in September and October at 5:00 PM, we invite you to guided tours of the exhibition "Who are you, Maria?". Warsaw native, daughter and sister, governess, student, wife and mother, scientist, social activist – the temporary exhibition tells the story of the many life roles Maria Skłodowska-Curie combined. We showcase her character both through the lens of fame and rejection, which – despite her undeniable successes – she experienced as a woman breaking barriers in professional work and conventions in private life. During the tour, we will look at her from various perspectives, asking questions – not only historical ones. Staff members from various museum departments – education, collections, exhibitions, communication, publishing – will talk about the exhibition from the perspective of their interests and tasks at the Museum, share behind-the-scenes stories, and pose questions they themselves would like to ask Maria. 📅 Dates: - 04.09 - 11.09 - 18.09 - 25.09 - 02.10 - 09.10 - 16.10 - 23.10 - 30.10 ⏰ Time: 5:00 PM Guided tours in Polish Participation in the tour with an exhibition ticket No registration required — limited spots available (max. 30 people) More about the exhibition: https://www.mmsc.waw.pl/kim-jestes-mario-aktualna-wystawa/
