We invite you to a unique organ concert dedicated to the memory of Marian Sawa, one of the most important Polish composers and organ virtuosos of the 20th century. On the 20th anniversary of his death, we will honor the legacy of an artist who left behind more than 800 works—full of spirituality, expression, and deeply rooted in Polish musical tradition. Sawa was not only a brilliant creator but also a teacher, mentor to many generations of organists and musicians. His music continues to inspire young artists and remains an important point of reference in the world of contemporary organ music. Performers of the concert: - Łucja Furmanek - Anna Kozłowska - Michał Adamczyk - Eryk Bosiacki - Grzegorz Wijas They will be accompanied by the Choir of the F. Chopin State Music School in Warsaw under the direction of Robert Lawrence. This evening will be a meeting of youthful passion with the spiritual depth of Sawa's work—a tribute paid by the next generation of artists who, through sound, carry on his musical heritage. ✨ December 21, 2025 (Sunday) 🕒 6:45 PM 📍 Church of the Mother of God Mary, 13 Muszlowa St., Warsaw 🎟️ Free admission Bring your friends, loved ones, and all who love organ music—let's experience this evening together. The organs at the Church of the Mother of God Mary in Warsaw stand out on the map of Warsaw and even all of Mazovia. None of the concert halls or parishes have such large organs, whose complexity allows for almost constant surprise for the listener with their diversity and power of sound. An additional advantage of the concerts is a camera in the choir, which, combined with a laser projector, allows you to observe the performer at the console. The spoken word during the concerts will contain the most important information for the listener, selected curiosities, or tips on what to pay attention to while listening to the work. The festival is under the patronage of Bishop Rafał Markowski, and financial support was provided by the Bemowo District Office of the City of Warsaw, for which we sincerely thank you.
