Influenced by Irish punk, the musicians decided to create their own Belarusian folk-punk. The lyrics mostly deal with the history of Belarus, but there’s also plenty of drunken bike rides. Paradoxically, the historical lyrics and use of the Belarusian language brought them negative relations with the authorities, who banned their concerts under the pretext of “low artistic value” of their songs. Over the years, the band has recorded three albums. Work on the fourth was interrupted by the protests of 2020 and the ensuing repressions, which practically stifled Belarusian culture. The band members were not spared either: arrests, trials, imprisonment, forced emigration. Some members found refuge in Warsaw, where, with the knowledge and consent of those remaining in Belarus, they decided to continue their activities. 🎥 Performance excerpt from the “Rock na bagnie” festival: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5uNwA6yIT8 🎥 Music video “Kali nad luham busieł praliacieu”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uVl_nf8zLg 🔗 Links: - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Dzieciuki - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dzieciuki/ - YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@dzieciuki - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2ickO4SwvjX9SaBBXRBl6w 🎵 The Neunikneš - punk rock (Ostrava) Czech hardcore/punk band from Ostrava. Original Czech lyrics and an unconventional trombone in punk are their trademarks. They have released four studio albums. Their latest album, “Bez Kontaktu,” was released in January 2023 and tells a story about the madness and chaos of the postmodern digital world. They have played dozens of concerts in Poland, festivals, clubs, squats, and actively organize concerts, inviting friendly Polish bands such as GA-GA Zielone Żabki, Mass Milicja, Psy Wojny. They have appeared twice on the “Strefa Rokendrola” show on Radio Trójka. 🎥 Links: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0jo507RIdc - https://theneuniknes.bandcamp.com - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100050519449032 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wriBzMPEPhE 🎶 The so-called support will be the awesome band Wandarounik. 🎧 Afterparty music by DJ Abibok.
