So, autumn is coming soon. Time to get out of bed and play some music for you. And we haven’t played in Warsaw for a long time, so we’ll see you on October 5th at Chmury! 🎸 Joining us will be the well-known and beloved band Pleń (the first one, post-rock, from Łódź). 💰 Entry: 40 PLN Ivo Shandor & The Gozer Worshipers is a quintet founded by Boro (Lonker See, Why Bother?) as a continuation of his journey through the planet of psychedelia and musical spaces, where inspiration flows directly from the turbulent rhythm of life by the sea. The band is characterized by elaborate forms, rich improvisation, and creative use of dynamics. Their music combines captivating melodies with the grind of distorted guitars, weaving in elements of jazz, ambient noise, and rock'n'roll. Together with musicians from the bands Pleń, Goodly, Szczęki, and Jutra, they recorded material that was released on March 28, 2025, by the iconic label Antena Krzyku. Active since 2019, they have recorded two albums so far: "Rondo straconego czasu" (Studio Widnokrąg), released on March 21, 2025, and their self-titled debut album "Pleń" (Jvdasz Iskariota Rec) in 2021. The group has performed on the same stage with Titanic Sea Moon, Ampacity, Tie’n Lai, Wczasy, Melisa, Zdrój, Popsysze, and Szorstkie. They have also appeared at festivals such as Music Is The Weapon Fest, RóBSzuM, and Fląder Festiwal. A few words about the new album: The titular "Rondo straconego czasu" (Roundabout of Lost Time) is actually Rondo Solidarności in Łódź – a place where hundreds, perhaps thousands, of our city’s residents regularly lose at least a few minutes of their lives. Stuck in stillness, with no way to escape, knowing that this is not a one-time situation. "Rondo..." is a specific point on our city’s map, but each of you "has one at home" – sooner or later, we all end up in a place from which we cannot simply escape, where changing something requires more than just a change in attitude or gaining perspective.
