The Open Warsaw Championships in Kayak Polo for amateurs and veterans will take place on 7.9.2025 at the Warsaw Water Club (Wał Miedzeszyński 295, 03-994 Warsaw) from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The event is organized by the Powiśle Sports Club and the Szkutnia Foundation after hours. - Participation: All players born in 1995 or earlier (veterans), as well as younger adults who have not competed in championship-level kayak polo events in the past two years (amateurs), are eligible to participate. Participants take part in the competition at their own risk, and registration is equivalent to a declaration of having no contraindications to participate in the event. - Registration, drawing, briefing: Based on individual registrations, players will be drawn into teams (minimum of 5 members), where captains and team names will be selected. - All players will compete in one open mix category. - The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the Kayak Polo regulations. - Individual registrations should be submitted via the form available at: https://forms.gle/THAWcGETy136bAPr7 by 2.09.2025, along with information about the equipment owned. - The technical briefing will take place on 7.09.2025 at 9:30 AM at the Warsaw Water Club. - Tournament format: The II Open Warsaw Championships in Kayak Polo for amateurs and veterans will be held on one field. The competition system will be announced during the technical briefing – it depends on the number of registrations. Equipment meeting regulatory requirements will be allowed for the championships. The organizer provides complete equipment for players who do not have their own gear. - Fees: None – the II Open Warsaw Championships in Kayak Polo for amateurs and veterans are funded by the Sports and Recreation Office as part of the "Active by the Vistula" contest. - Prizes: Medals will be awarded to players who achieve the top three places.
