Beginner Cup is a tournament in the 8-ball variant dedicated to beginner players. The competition takes place every Monday at the 147 Break club, 84/86 Nowogrodzka St. We invite you to the next edition of the games. Don’t hesitate and test your skills against other amateurs. Here, everyone has a chance to win against anyone! We encourage you to read the rules: - Organizer: The organizer of the Beginner Cup tournament is Black Ball Events and the 147 Break billiard club. - Date and place: 📅 Tournaments will be held every Monday at the 147 Break billiard club, 84/86 Nowogrodzka St. in Warsaw from 19:00. In exceptional situations, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the tournament after prior notification to the players. - Game system: Tournaments will be played in the 8-ball variant. Each tournament will consist of the following phases: group and knockout. All players will be randomly assigned to groups. The size of the groups will be adjusted based on the number of registered participants. Matches will be played to 2 won games. The rules for advancing from the group are as follows: - the top two places in the group advance to the knockout phase - if two players have the same number of wins, the game difference decides the higher place - if three or more players have the same number of wins and game difference, the following are considered in order: 1) direct matches between these players (points - small table) 2) game difference in matches between these players (games - small table) 3) game difference in all group matches (games - large table) In the first round of the knockout phase, group winners will be seeded, and second-place players will be matched to them according to the scheme: A1 – C2, B1 – D2, C1 – A2, D1 – B2. Points will be awarded for places in individual tournaments towards the final individual ranking. Scoring: Place Points - 1 100 - 2 90 - 3 80 - 5 70 - 9 60 - 13 50 - 17 40 - 21- 30 The top 16 in the final ranking qualify for the season-ending BEGINNER MASTERS tournament. - Participation conditions: Any beginner billiards player who pays the entry fee may participate in the tournament, except for: - former and current players of the 1st and 2nd Polish Billiard League and the Ekstraliga The organizer reserves the right to assign a handicap in exceptional situations. 💰 The entry fee for the tournament is 50 PLN. - Prizes: Weekly prizes are provided for: - victory: medal, voucher for 2 hours of billiards - 2nd place: voucher for 2 hours of billiards Additionally, material prizes and trophies are provided for places in the final ranking and the Masters tournament. The Beginner Cup tournament is a ranking tournament of the Warsaw Pool Tour series with a one-star rating and is included in the Warsaw Ranking classification. In matters not regulated by these rules, the organizer’s decisions apply. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules. A person participating in the tournament simultaneously accepts the rules and agrees to the processing of their image and personal data for the marketing purposes of the 147 Break club and Black Ball Events.
