On April 7 at Club Progresja, Fit For A King will play, with special guests Memphis May Fire, Acres and 156/Silence.

Fit For A King is one of the pillars of contemporary metalcore. Their music blends deathcore brutality with distinct melodies and electronic elements, rounded out by Ryan Kirby’s signature vocals. The latest album, released August 1 “Lonely God”, is a record where the band tackled very personal themes while perfecting their sound — intense breakdowns contrast with melodic choruses, and a monumental atmosphere pervades the whole. Fit For A King’s live shows are known for unstoppable energy, making their Progresja performance a real knockout.

Memphis May Fire, from their debut “Sleepwalking”, through the iconic “The Hollow” and “Unconditional”, up to this year’s album “Shapeshifter”, show they can combine melodic choruses with uncompromising intensity. The Denton, Texas crew has mixed metalcore with post-hardcore, hard rock and nu metal over the years, always prioritizing honesty.

Acres (UK) rose to prominence with their debut “Lonely World” — their music mixes melodic post-hardcore with melancholy and emotional honesty. The latest album “The Host” is another step forward: a record full of drama, weight and gripping moments.

156/Silence (Pittsburgh) are trailblazers of a new wave of metalcore — they combine chaos with noise experiments, hardcore aggression and strong melodies. The latest album “People Watching” shows the band in top form.
