"All Is Good Between Us" is one of TR Warszawa's biggest hits, packed with audiences, praised by critics, and repeatedly awarded at festivals. The play by Grzegorz Jarzyna, one of Poland's most important directors, is based on the work of Dorota Masłowska, nominated for the NIKE Literary Award. It is a funny and moving portrait of a divided Polish society, overwhelmed by the burden of traumatic history, torn between national pride and a sense of shame. Using a crazy, inventive language and razor-sharp humor, Masłowska portrays contemporary Poland, where nouveaux riches, pseudo-artists, and media celebrities meet disillusioned youth and working-class people living on the edge of poverty. Everyone tries to stay afloat in a toxic mix of commercialism, Catholic nationalism, and an idealized tragic past. In the premiere version of the play, the role of the Listless Old Lady was played by the legendary actress Danuta Szaflarska, a member of the TR Warszawa ensemble, who passed away in 2017. She was one of the longest-active stage artists, performing in "All Is Good Between Us" even at the age of 101. In the new version of the production, Danuta Szaflarska is replaced by Lech Łotocki, an outstanding actor who has been performing with TR Warszawa since the company's inception. For organized groups from secondary schools, we offer introductory workshops to the performance (please contact the theater pedagogy team: anna.kurelska@trwarszawa.pl). The performance was produced in co-production with TR Warszawa and Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. performance website: https://trwarszawa.pl/program/miedzy-nami-dobrze-jest/ -------- The performance is recommended for viewers aged 14 and over. text: Dorota Masłowska directed by: Grzegorz Jarzyna set design: Magdalena Maciejewska costumes: Magdalena Musiał lighting design: Jacqueline Sobiszewski music: Piotr Domiński / Grzegorz Jarzyna video: Cókierek / Pani K. cast: Aleksandra Popławska, Lech Łotocki, Natalia Kalita, Magdalena Kuta, Maria Maj, Agnieszka Podsiadlik, Justyna Wasilewska, Adam Woronowicz, Rafał Maćkowiak photo: Natalia Kabanow
