Competition format:

• 2 rounds of play – each of 18 baskets

Participant limit: 90 people

A few times a year a day comes when Droga Golfowa in Wawer stops being just a golf road and starts to resemble a top-tier disc golf course.

Is it Maple Hill? Is it Idlewild? Or did we maybe pass through Smugglers’ Notch on the way? No. It's still Droga Golfowa. Only the layout was designed by Dominik.

How he does it:

• he uses multidimensional flight models to preserve disc stability even at low spin speeds;
• he accounts for variable soil moisture and its effect on ground play on the second and third bounces;
• he corrects for the Coriolis effect (because Wawer spins with the Earth too);
• he runs Monte Carlo simulations for OB throws;
• he analyzes real-time player flow, known as Dynamic Fairway Flow Optimization (DFFO).

At the end he supposedly checks everything in the field — walking with coffee, a backpack of discs and the thought: “Well… this will hurt.” We don't know that. We just come to the tournament — and the layout is ready.
