20 February — Friday, 7:30 PM — in the Upper Church. You are invited to the sung Service of the Stations of the Cross. The prayer will be led by the Academic Choir of Saint Anne, which invites everyone to join in the communal singing. The meditations between the stations will be read by actor Marcin Kwaśny.
27 February — Friday, 7:30 PM. The garden — a place of relaxation and rest… but not every garden was like that. What was the Olive Garden like? What did Jesus experience there? What did his disciples experience? And what might an ordinary person who visited that garden have experienced? We will seek an answer to the last question while being in the Olive Garden during the Stations of the Cross.
13 March — Friday, 7:30 PM. Mountains and hills are places to admire beautiful views — places of wonder and pleasant fatigue. There is also a hill that was not a pleasant experience — Golgotha, the place of the death of Jesus of Nazareth. We will go up that hill together at the next Stations of the Cross service.
27 March — Friday, 7:30 PM. A funeral — each of us has been to a funeral. We do not like funerals, especially when we have to say goodbye to someone very close. The upcoming Stations of the Cross will, however, be a different kind of funeral — the funeral of Jesus of Nazareth. We will experience it differently than those who buried his body after the crucifixion on Golgotha, because we know that his tomb is empty and that he has risen. We will also be at yet another kind of funeral — the burial of human problems. See you there.
