You wanted to do something for yourself in the new year but missed something that would give you a taste of summer in the middle of winter? Now's the perfect opportunity — right after Saturday shopping hop in your car and come for 2 hours of Sensual Bachata classes, unwind to soft and sultry Spanish rhythms. On some Saturdays you can let yourself go and stay for one of the parties at Abra!
Bachata itself is a dance where improvisation, a smile and connection between partners matter most. The goal is to teach you to dance with anyone (lead and follow). In class we focus primarily on passing on this skill — only then technique, turns and body waves. Don’t worry, there won’t be any tests — you’ll spend these 2 hours in a relaxed atmosphere, meeting other interesting people. (YOU CAN COME WITHOUT A PARTNER — we switch partners during class.)
You don’t need to know anything from the start — just bring an outfit in which you feel comfortable and relaxed, invite friends and see you on Saturday at ABRA Studio.
