"Pleasure in Simplicity" – that's how I want to title the upcoming course on individual Argentine tango technique. I invite you to sign up and actively participate! 🕒 Saturdays from 12:00 to 13:30, 10 lessons. 📅 We start on October 11th. 📍 Dance Studios at 18 Świętokrzyska Street. Technique classes are one of the elements of dance development. They help us get to know our bodies, feel their possibilities, and deepen comfort, freedom, and pleasure in dancing. By developing our own body awareness, we become more sensitive and open to building contact and interaction when dancing in pairs. We will work with our bodies, sensations, and awareness while dancing elements of Argentine tango. The lessons are for all levels and both roles, leaders and followers. Topic schedule: - October 11th - dance posture, footwork, body transfer (axis in motion) - October 18th, 25th - walking and balance in dance - November 8th, 15th, 22nd - dissociation, pivot, ocho - November 29th, December 6th - giro - December 13th, 20th - practical embellishments and boleo ⚠️ NOTE: There will be no classes on November 1st. Each meeting starts with a mobile warm-up, smoothly moving on to dance exercises and practicing specific elements of Argentine tango. I recommend bringing comfortable clothes that don't restrict movement, a spare pair of socks, and dance shoes. You can join the classes at any point during the course. However, I encourage you to participate in the whole course.
