Workshops for beginners
Who are the workshops for?
- for handlers and dogs who have not yet had contact with nosework
- for people who want to teach their dog scent work in a calm and understandable way
- for teams looking for an activity that develops the dog intellectually
- for dogs of all ages — including reactive, sensitive, or those needing calming
Nosework is a sport that:
- builds the dog’s confidence
- supports concentration and independence
- teaches team communication between dog and handler
- is practically accessible to almost any dog
- gives the dog a sense of being cared for, satisfaction from work, and healthy tiredness
How will the workshops look?
Introductory lecture for participants:
- what nosework is
- how to start working with a dog
- how to motivate the dog
- how to create and store scent samples
- how to support the dog in scent work without applying pressure
Group sessions (morning and evening — divided into groups):
- introducing the scent
- step-by-step training plan
- teamwork
- observing dogs and learning to read their behaviors
Teams will work:
- on a Kong (provided by the organizer)
- on their own scents (after prior consultation and declaring the type of scent)
- on scents prepared by the organizers (e.g., scents used in competitions: cinnamon, orange, clove — natural or oils, chosen by participants)
Date: March 29–31, 2026
Format:
- 29.03 (Sunday) 18:00 — lecture (no dogs)
- 30–31.03 — group training, divided into morning and evening groups (work with dogs)
Duration: up to 60 minutes
Cost:
- 250 zł — participant with dog (when registering by 28.02)
- 200 zł — observer (when registering by 28.02)
After 28.02:
- 300 zł — participant with dog
- 250 zł — observer
Individual trainings – intermediate and advanced teams
For teams that want to:
- work through a specific problem
- get back on the right training track
- work on precision and communication in the team

Format: individual field sessions
Duration: up to 60 minutes
Cost: 120 zł
Before the sessions the handler fills out a form:
- level of advancement
- area to work on (problem / training goal)
About the instructor:
