We thought we had said everything about the climacteric... "Climacteric 2 or Menopause Rampage" was created at the explicit request of the audience, who wanted to know the further fates of the heroines — no longer young, but still so young at heart.
Still struggling with overweight but no longer unemployed Pamela and Zosia, a resourceful housewife, by old custom come to celebrate Malina's next birthday. This time they meet in her newly opened pub. Only Krycha is missing, who was supposed to come too, but... we won't reveal that! Instead Angela, gifted with a lyrical soul, appears and runs the business with Malina. Where such different women gather, who haven't seen each other for a long time and have much to say, it's loud, funny and the fun begins!
Over 1,800 performances of "Climacteric... and that's it" in the six years since its premiere clearly show that women and their problems are an inexhaustible theme. Our heroines "cursed have risen from humiliation" and pursue what they fought for in the first part: they prove that the climacteric is not the end of the world, but the beginning of a new life. Completely new songs in wonderful arrangements with funny lyrics that you can't stop humming, composed choreographic routines and that unique energy that the actresses on stage share with the audience. Some of them we met in "Climacteric... and that's it!", but this noble group has been joined by new artists, each better than the last and all simply excellent. And each of them brings something completely unique to the show.
During the performance the ladies have a great time — including those in the audience. And men, to their surprise, find themselves applauding and singing along more boldly. It's true laughter therapy — soothing and effective — under its influence we gain perspective on ourselves, others, our wounds and fears. Because "Menopause Rampage" embraces everyone, especially those who least expect it.
