Being a woman over forty doesn't have to be sad, difficult or boring... this is proven by the colorful heroines of the play "Climacteric ... and That's It" by Elżbieta Jodłowska. Although Pamela, Malina, Krycha and Zosia struggle with conventional problems such as loneliness, lack of love, betrayals, or domestic catastrophes where male help would be useful, their approach to the adversities often caused by age is an excellent model to follow for every mature woman.
The heroines show in an extraordinary way how - with a large dose of cheerfulness, self-acceptance and humor one can cope with and survive the challenging time of menopause and make the quality of life in this period become a pleasant memory in the future. This uncommon staging of the issue is enriched not only by excellent acting but also by pleasing musical motifs in the form of songs written to popular and well-liked tunes, accompanied by humorous choreography performed by the heroines.
