GALERIA PROJEKT CAFE INVITES YOU TO A CONCERT Maciej Smycz will perform songs by Bob Dylan Maciej Smycz, aiming to breathe new life into folk music, as musicians did in the cafes of New York's Greenwich Village in the 60s, embarks on a tour with Dylan's songs and more. You will feel as if you are in the dimly lit basement of New York's Gaslight or on a plain stretching to the horizon. From sea songs to poetry of urban hustle and bustle, and up to the mountains, Maciej Smycz will perform folk-blues songs in a singer-songwriter configuration. And since he believes we need Dylan more than ever, most of the songs will be by the boy from a small town in Minnesota. Additionally, there will be songs by The Waterboys, Townes Van Zandt, Eddie Vedder, Ryan Bingham, and Johnny Cash. Known for projects such as Blue Willmingtons or the duo with Henry No Hurry – Willem Vardo – Maciej Smycz has released a total of 5 albums. Always fascinated by styles that grew on Western soil, collectively referred to as "American folk," he has drawn inspiration from them, telling stories of those lands through sound and words. Recently, he has also embraced electronics – the impressionistic album "Light of the Dusk" was born from improvisations on various keyboard instruments, creating ambient landscapes.
