“Without Filling” — A Monodrama by Ewelina Gronowska (from the SOLO BEHIND THE THEATER series)
“Life is like a box of chocolates – you never know which one you’ll get” – Forrest Gump used to say. Well, sometimes there’s a filling, other times not. Each time you hope you’ll get yours, THE ONE – with a Rose... But someone else took the Rose. Or the Rose chose another eater.
So you roll yourself into a duvet and imagine it’s a living someone. Inhale and exhale, and don't worry, be happy. Breathe and repeat: don't worry, be happy, don't worry, be happy.
What is love like? What is loneliness like? Do we need another person to feel happy? Or does being single strengthen us and allow us to truly love ourselves? How does it look nowadays? Where do we look for love?
Age restrictions: 16+
The performance uses: loud music, strobe lighting and interaction with the audience.
The performance addresses the topics of: sex and sexuality, loneliness.
