Isn’t our life a little absurd? Let’s try to capture it.
Our medium will be alcohol inks that flow across different surfaces — living their own life, with intense colors and subtle tonal transitions. We will create a series of abstract compositions, not limiting ourselves to synthetic paper — other unusual substrates await. We will add a flash of gold sealed as delicate flakes.
During the workshop we will try to capture the absurd through colorful, abstract compositions. We will enclose the absurd in blobs of alcohol inks with a golden accent.
Note: the classes are not suitable for people sensitive to smells — we will work “in the vapors of absurdity” (alcohol scent from the ink). The room will be ventilated and equipped with fans.
